What are the shipping options?

You can choose between standard and priority shipping. All orders above 300€ are shipped with priority free of charge. For more detailed information, follow go to Shipping.

Where are your products made?

All our products are handcrafted by experienced artisans in small ateliers or manufactories in Germany.

What type of leather do you use?

We only use the highest quality leathers in the market and are completely transparent about our sources, the tanning process and manufacturing techniques. All our leather sources as well as information about each leather are disclosed and highlighted in the product section.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we do.

How much are you involved in the development process of a new product?

Our expertise in both conventional and unconventional manufacturing techniques and artisanal know-how is what makes Mainka unique. Each product is prototyped by Mr. Mainka in his own atelier and iterated to perfection before both the design and our manufacturing instructions are handed over to our manufacturing partners in Germany.

What makes Mainka unique?

1. We use a carefully selected range of leathers that cannot be used for mass-market products due to its high price point and small available quantities.

2. We sell our products radically below market prices following a direct to consumer conecpt and cut out the middle men. You pay for the material, the manufacturing time and the Mainka mark-up - a premium price for a luxury product.

3. We combine design know-how with manufacturing know-how unbiased by industry standards. This allows us to create products with a unique look and uncomparable level of durability.
